We are very thankful to our employees — those working in processing and production, sales and office personnel, and the many truck drivers who are on the road every day. All Weaver Bros., Inc. employees are deemed an essential worker during the COVID-19 outbreak, and we are strictly abiding by CDC and Ohio Health Department regulations and general health and safety best practices to ensure that: 1) our employees are safe and healthy; and, 2) our eggs are produced, processed, packed, and shipped safely according to guidelines.

We’re regularly disinfecting all surfaces, including break-rooms and restrooms. All employees are provided with nitrile gloves and face masks. We are also providing hand sanitizer and hands-free wash sinks to keep hands clean and sanitized. All Weaver Eggs’ employees are currently healthy and have been advised not to come to work if they are ill. We have implemented daily employee temperature screenings, and have made it a requirement to report any issues of chest or breathing problems. We support employees staying home to get well in the event they do feel ill.

We strive to meet an increased demand in a timely manner, as best we can. Our dedication to supplying consumers with an affordable, nutritious source of protein has always included a commitment to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our farms and facilities. That said, we are putting into effect the aforementioned new sanitation protocols for all of our operations based on the latest guidance from the CDC, and best practices gathered from across the industry.

We are committed to an open, honest, common-sense approach to managing new procedures in place, and most of all keeping our employees safe. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust as local and national health organization recommendations develop.
